TinyTuesday: The Best Kind of Wasp

Last summer we had hundreds of wasps and knocked down a lot of nests.  I put a few of them in a jar and forgot about them.  When I was cleaning last week, I found the jar.  No longer worried about anything being alive, I examined them closely today.  Many of the holes were empty but some still had wasp embryos in them at different stages of development.  It was so interesting!  I carefully removed the wasps from the holes with tweezers.  The one in my blip was the most developed.  The reason I called it the best kind of wasp is because it was never born!! ;-)  Many thanks to Jen for hosting the challenge this month!
