Waterlogged

The day isn't over yet and already 23mls of rain has fallen - sometimes as light rain and other times in lumps.

I walked the dogs during the lumpy sort and we all returned home drenched but at least we had managed some exercise. Needless to say, the camera did not venture out.

The rain is now of the light kind and so I went out to read the measure gauge and saw this waterlogged courgette flower. Despite its pool of water defying all hopes of pollination it looked quite cheery, so I felt it deserved to be my blip today.
