Papua New Guinea

We hiked around the bay to find a museum recommended on TripAdvisor. There was a cultural show going on there so we were able to see some of the tribal dances. They look very fierce but it's all part of the show.
Actually the people were all extremely friendly in the little town of Alotau, which has a very interesting Second World War history relating to the invasion by Japanese armies.

Our Fitbits registered 12000 steps by the time we got back but it was worth double in the heat and humidity. Our clothes were soaked in sweat when we returned to ship.
