Foraging swans

Hundreds of swans on the fens today taking advantage of the remains of the root crops left after the harvesting. Thousands come here each year from Iceland and Russia and overwinter at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve at Welney, They spend their days out on the fens and return to the reserve at sunset. Not a brilliant shot as it had been very foggy and was still murky - but gives the atmosphere.
