Who knew?

I've passed this lovely mutt many times, but this time I stopped to read the plaque. He's called Burn (it was written very small, but I think that's what it said - who needs reading glasses?).

Anyhoo, would you believe he comes from San Diego and is twinned with Greyfriar's Bobby, having a similar story of loyalty after master's death etc.

By his shiny head it looks like he is also twinned with the good luck myth that in recent years has plagued wee Bobby.

A day off today, dropped Ms H at musical audition and strode to the east end to finally exchange a duplicate CD I had given Mr H for Christmas - at last.
