Lesser Black Backed Gull

I think it's a lesser black backed gull, the black backed version is much darker.
Not an exciting photography day today but took this one while walking Jonty this morning.
Very slippy with a hard frost on the pavements but not so much on the grass which is unusual.
The gulls are there everyday in the Park, they seem to like the football pitches. Maybe the worms are near the surface with all of the thumping around of the childrens football games.
