A Princess Castle

Little J has a love of castles and she made this one when staying in our house over the weekend. She tells me it's a girl Castle and it is magical. Three is a cute age where everything is assigned a gender by her. She is definite about boy and girl activities and colours. It's quite fascinating and despite the fact she comes from a liberal household the media and her cultural experiences in her short life so far have had tremendous influence. It's a space to watch!
