About The Young Idea

The Jam are one of my all-time favourite bands - they were the first band I ever got properly "into".
So when I was looking for a gift for my nephew's birthday, and found this, I knew I had to have it.
It's a collectors edition triple album of their greatest hits. On coloured vinyl - 1 red, 1 white and 1 blue.
Now, I'm not one of those nostalgic luddites that gets all romantic about vinyl. I love that I can hold my entire music collection on something the size of a C90 cassette. But I have to admit, I got a tiny bit giddy when I pulled this out of the sleeve.

I also got one for my 15 year old nephew, I just hope he loves it as much as I do.
