The Lost Castle

Having got a replacement phone that works well, I would have liked to check out the camera. Not to be, the castle could not be found!

Got home tonight to an unholy racket coming from the boiler. Mr L sure it is something to do with a valve, but noise too great so we turned it off and called British Gas, with whom we have a homecare contract. The lady listened to my description of the loud squealing noise and then put me through to an emergency gas man who made me turn all the gas off! We then had to wait for him to come and 'make safe'. He turned everything on, waited until the boiler got hot enough to start squealing again and said it was a fault on the boiler!!! So, we can have the gas on, just in case we might want to cook a meal in the middle of the night, but all the heating and hot water is OFF. So, a phone back and a boiler off. I step forward and two back comes to mind. Engineer booked for tomorrow.
