High Woods

Cally here was in charge of us today; good to see a girl with her chainsaw licence.   High Woods is full of chestnut trees  that used to be coppiced but the woods have been neglected and a chainsaw is needed for the long over-due coppicing. Never mind there was lots of  holly for us volunteers with bowsaws and loppers to clear. ( see extra). I reckon these woods qualify for Wild Wednesday or maybe Cally does, going wild with a chainsaw
