Landed!

A long & rather stressful journey to Vancouver. Our flight from Newcastle to Heathrow was badly delayed because of the fog & we were very short of time for our connection. In addition when we tried to board at Heathrow on our Air Canada flight our electronic visa which we had arranged a few weeks ago was not appearing on our passports & they would not let us board. The airline rang Canadian immigration who finally cleared us but not before our bags had been removed from the flight. Thankfully we were allowed to board with six minutes to spare & they popped our bags back on. Now at Vancouver arrivals waiting for our transfer to Whistler. Can't wait to fall into bed but very much looking forward to the next fortnight.
