Oops, I startled it.

The heron was busy fishing beside the track and  took off in a rush when I appeared beside it. It didnt go far, just to the other side of the stream and I captured it splashing down again.

Had a visit to the Surgeon today and all is going well. Just going to take longer than I thought or hoped. I have never been very good at being patient.
