Kep
Stacey, Amelie and I rented two scooters and headed for Kep. It took about half an hour and was much easier than my trip two years ago as they've mostly finished one of the roads that was a nightmare to drive on before. We went to the crab market then had some lunch. I had the crab with Kampot pepper again which is seriously delicious.
The reason we chose to drive to Kep and not up the mountain was that rain was forecast. We did get some heavy showers but they were brief. We drove around, intentionally trying to get a bit lost. We stumbled upon some nice rural life but made sure we were back in town before dark as some of the roads aren't great.
In the evening we met up with two people Amelie had met in Phnom Penh. We had some food and then went for ice cream.
