Fallen Flyer

When I got back home from Geraldine today (ironically after flying my drone to get some aerial shots of the town) I found a dead grey warbler on the front deck. It had hit the large windows on the first floor above the front door, and unfortunately the poor little thing didn't survive.

One thing it did offer me though was the chance to view one of these wonderful little birds close up. So I grabbed my macro lens and took this close up photo of some of its wing feathers.
