as the sun goes down

As I travelled home from a friend and colleague's funeral in Cheshire this scene seemed appropriate for today. Kev's life was taken suddenly and tragically leaving his widow to face the start of her chemo' treatment next week without his support. Fortunately they have a very supportive  family who live close by. I have been in daily contact with E since the accident and the inner strength that she has found is just astounding. She will need more of it over the coming weeks.

The family had arranged the send off that I know Kev would have loved. A massive turn out ended in good humour in the village pub where he and E spent each Friday evening. Cheers Kev.
