Moss on log

At Bradwell Abbey today where we were re-chipping the paths.  I would have liked a log on a fire to warm up.  Good turn out in spite of the cold.  I was on raking duties which didn't keep my fingers warm.  The pile of chippings ran out (fortunately)  at coffee break time so most of us took the opportunity to leave after our hot drink.  I wallowed in a hot bath and then ate hot soup, both very reviving.
Going to see 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' at the theatre tonight with d- i -l after an Italian meal.
Hope it will help to cheer her up as the husband of her best friend died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, which has been a great shock all round.
