Abstract Wide Distortion . . .

Spent a while trying to improve on my WidWed distortions attempting to mimic Mr Hobbs’ illustrations, in particular yesterday’s railway lines, but without very much success.  So I gave up and turned what I had got into an ‘Abstract Thursday’ entry.  Well it’s a bit different, and looks better in large.
 
Now I notice that Mr Hobbs’ railway lines were a bit distorted in the first place – you can go off people you know . . .  (not really!)

ps: I know not where the blue flare came from – it just appeared from one of the filters that I used.  In looking for a possible source I produced the ‘abstract extra’ (for what it’s worth . . . )
