The coastal path, Kjærnes brygge (quay)

On my way to Tofte and Mr Dag I decided to walk a part of the coastal path from a quay called Kjærnes, towards Breivik. It is just a twenty minuts drive from my house, but the area was indeed a hidden secret., small charming summerhouses by the sea. I will definitly come back in june.
Can somebody help me with a english word, which I can't find in the dictionary? I find the word quay, harbour and pier, but what is a small, private one called, for a small boat or two?
