Freezing

Behind this door lives a refugee family we're getting to know in their 'skeleton' house. It was one of those visits which I'd planned to be an hour long but ended up being 4 hours including dinner! They are so incredibly generous and cooked a feast for us, which makes me feel bad as they are so poor. Their kitchen is pretty much outside and is freezing. When I was cooking with the mum I had to try my very best to pretend not to look too cold especially washing up using freezing cold water. These women really are heroines (and I'm such a lightweight: I must admit to having been a bit moany today because of the bad electricity. Being with these families helps me to shut up and be thankful!).
