Paperwhites in the window

Narcissus papyraceus (from papyrus and aceus; meaningpaper-like), one of a few species known as paperwhite, is a perennial bulbous plant native to the western Mediterranean region, from Greece to Portugal plus Morocco and Algeria. ... Paperwhites are part of the Narcissus genus which includes plants known as daffodils. -Wikipedia

Our window restorer has been here all morning re-installing the sashes she removed, repaired and restored for our guest bedroom. Now both windows in the room operate properly with new weights, period  reproduction locks( matching the few originals still in service downstairs) and copper chain instead of broken ropes. Linda is devoted to her craft and our 124 year old windows are good to go for another 100 years. We have new windows obviously in our nearly 15 year old addition. They are so inferior compared with the windows in the original house. We love the wavy antique glass so much, and miss it in the new windows.

For the Record,
This day came in dark with on and off morning drizzle and showers.

All hands healthy

Extra, raindrops and the restored window. The drops are on the storm windows which were our only windows when Linda took the sashes to her shop for restoration.
