G didn't have to go into work today (professional development day for the staff), so it was nice to have a relaxed start to the day.

I had to run a couple of errands, one of which was to do a blood test to see how the iron infusions have taken hold. Results to come later in the day. Then ran some more errands with G - to find out when she should do her next visa run. Different people tell her different things. The queue to ask the question was too long, so she's got to return to the airport tomorrow.

And in the evening, I went to Cubano Lito at the new Ibis Hotel for leaving drinks planned for our little team who got made redundant! Three of us were there and we got flowers and a card. The restaurant itself was quite cool - couldn't resist this picture of the bar area. A pleasant evening catching up with ex-colleagues.
