Seed pod

Some years ago a friend gave me some seeds for a plant she called 'shoo fly'  as the flower was supposed to shoo flies!
Every year some plants come up and have a beautiful cornflower colour flower and then produce these exotic seed pods.
Since it was wall to wall grey today I have blipped the pod in monochrome as it sums up this colourless day
