Day 026 2017-01-26 Aubergine!!!

I promised to make an aubergine badge but I am not sure how to make the stitches so small. I put a 10p against the badge to show the scale, but it turns out to be Canadian 5 cent from 1982...  

It made me giggle, but it doesn't resolve the issue of how to make the stitches this small!
