The Holocaust Poet

I originally Blipped this statue in February when it was just a statue to me. Since then I've found out it's a poet called Miklós Radnóti who was a holocaust poet, Hungarian and Jew in the second world war, I've read some of his translated poems it's very brutal and honest.

I flew back to Budapest today for a few more weeks, it was tough leaving the family today as they had bank holiday things planned, never mind only 3 weeks and i think a few days of that will be working in Caen
