Pining for the fjords..?

Jess was delighted with her discovery of this partridge on our walk today. There was no way she was going to drop it whilst there was another dog within half a mile, so I had to wait until Sandra and Ruby had gone before insisting she did.

When she gingerly dropped it I discovered it must have been an ex-partridge for a while as it was frozen solid.  And, apologies to the next walker, but I had to put it in the branches of this bush to stop her picking it up again.
