Ruffled Feathers

All was peaceful just one minute earlier, as these two Red-breasted Nuthatches simultaneously surveyed the sky, watching for danger from above (see extra).

Their volatility reminds me of DJT's first major interview as president, which I read in its entirety. His opinions are inchoate and impossible to follow to a logical conclusion. He's not much of a reader, to put it mildly, and very sure that whatever he thinks at any given moment is the very best answer.

I have a feeling that my feathers are going to be permanently ruffled for the next four years... but I promise not to let DJT dominate my journal entries.
