The last of the daisies

I had a very long day at work...with lots of teaching and a parents meeting in the evening. It was long but a good day - I really like my class - such nice kids.

When I got home I took Diesel for a long walk, had a catch-up pbone call with a friend, and found myself in a patch of dying daisies.... a blip for the day. So, as I love to do, I sat myself down in the weeds and spent a bit a time playing around. It was already getting dark, so I am using an extremely high iso...still, I kind of liked the effect.

Daisies are my favourite and its sad to see them go...there is a bite in the air and it suddenly really feels like fall.
