Chinese New Year

The outside space in my photograph will be used this evening for a Chinese New Year celebration which promises to be spectacular - there'll be a banquet, dragons, acrobats and music. However, this evening we've opted for Italian.

We'll be dining with friends Guido and Alma who have lived out here for almost twenty years - Guido being a native of Rimini and Alma coming from Manila. Guido serves some of the best a Italian food I've ever tasted - but then he's something of a perfectionist.
