What else would you do on a grey Bank Holiday except do something you've never done before?

We unearthered B's 15 year old (used once) pasta maker and had a go.

It was surprisingly not too much of a faff, and we had a great laugh doing it - the pasta was the length of the kitchen by the time we were nearly finished. We hung it on a coat hanger and hoped for the best.

Having just eaten it, I can confirm it was not half bad. I would highly recommend giving it a go if the weather is inclement and you've got a spare half hour.
