Snow Monkeys

All the chair lifts higher up the mountain were closed due to wind this morning so after an hour skiing on the lower slopes we made a snap decision to go to see the snow monkeys.

We had been tossing up whether it was feasible to do it the morning we go to Tokyo but it would have been difficult.

We just missed the last recommended bus but then they put an extra one on so we were very lucky.

It was a long day but worth it.
They were so cute and wandering around amongst the crowd. You had to be careful not to step on them.
