Sandwich

For reasons we won't go into I had a while to potter around the centre of Worcester.  I suspect Worcester is an aesthetic architect's idea of hell.  I could have taken innumerable photo's of buildings that would have been great in their time but are now slap-bang next to something utterly incongruous, albeit also hundreds of years old.

This one, "The Old Bridge House", sandwiched between Victorian brick slabs caught me rather by surprise as I passed the end of the alley.
