WIND DOWN

I've had a terrifically busy day, started with my Manager visiting, never stressful but you need to watch your P's & Q's, then I had a fire risk and health and safety ordit from an outside company, regulations have change a little since the last one and I'v a few small things to sort, finally a wizard from the IT dept arrived with my new laptop, I'm saying laptop but its one of those duel devices with a touch screen, it runs windows ten which is new to me, last time I used a microsoft device it ran XP which I wasn't a fan of, anyway, its all a learning curve, today I learnt to turn it on but failed in setting up a bluetooth mouse and changing the password (too many digits to remember in the companys one), decided to turn it off and enjoy the weekend instead. Twenty years ago I may well have headed to one of these fine establishments to wash away the stress of the week, nowdays its my feet up by the fire with a cup of tea wondering why I stopped drinking in the first place.
