Dress up day

P had another dress up day at school today as part of literacy week. The theme is Roald Dhal and P wanted to be Matilda. We've been making our way through the book, a chapter a night for a couple of weeks and P loves it. I took her to school this morning and stayed for reading time. It was lovely to see all the little ones in their costumes. Willy Wonka, the BFG and Fantastic Mr Fox were all there.

P also got to bring home Betsy the Badger from school for the weekend. Im hoping we can show her a good time so P has lots to write about in the journal.
