The Heavens Declare

Wide skies over Evoramonte, looking from the castle at Estremoz, as folk did in ancient times, and from Evoramonte to the castle atop Arroiolos... The huge rain cloud and the vestiges of sunshine typical of today - sun and heavy rain, first one and then the other, over and over.

Our Dutch colleagues took us for high tea in the imposing surroundings of the Pousada at Estremoz, and then for a wonderful meal in Pavia, where they presented us with one of her stunning wall hangings - rays of bright, silvery light slanting across dark skies, all to thank us for our friendship over this last year - we are so touched and grateful.
