lots of onions

here is a bag of onions, garlic and shallots harvested from my allotment. over the course of the year i have been an "allotment apprentice" in the hope of learning how to grow veggies for myself in a small patch. i have really enjoyed taking lots of pics over the summer months of all the veggies growing, and to fit in with this week's theme "the end of summer" i was sad to think that for me, a lot of the growing season is over as it has been a real god send and amazing opportunity to be able to spend many and hour in the serene allotment listening to the birds sing in the sunshine over the summer whilst attempting to learn about growing veg.
