Went food shopping on my own today as Diana is out meeting an ex colleague and her offspring. Decided to go early (8 a.m.) get the shopping done and treat myself to breakfast. For some inexplicable reason I opted for a Weatherspoons. Great value but shite, literally. I really should have known better but it's all Diana's fault. She should know that I'm not grown up enough to do a full weeks shopping and feed myself. Lucky I didn't need the toilet whilst I was out. That could have been a disaster.

Out for dinner tonight with the badminton crowd, two of whom are celebrating birthdays. A night at the casino beckons, drinks at the bar, dinner in the restaurant and then we will tempt lady luck at the black jack table. Last time we played I was  betting £5 a time and the guy next to us was laying £50 bets. Guess who walked away in profit and I'll give you a clue, he hasn't aged much in 43 years.
