The Auction Nottice.

Yippee the sun is out today.after popping out to get the paper it was back home to clean the windows and make a spice banana cake.
The shattered baulk timbers from the Porthleven 2014 storms have been created by local artists into pieces of art which are being auctioned to raise money for the fisherman's mission .What a wonderful idea momentos of that dreadful storm where boats were damaged including my husbands dingy which was never to been seen again and every other boat was then lifted out of the harbour.it was so strange to see a empty harbour for a few months.a lot of repair work on the harbour walls went on for quite a while.a fantastic job done so hopefully we don't have a repeat .
