A reminder for the inhabitant of OUR White House

My heart is heavy. Refuges in the air when the order was signed were stopped and detained at airports! Legal limbo and panic says the New York Times.These people had valid visas and legitimate refugee claims and they are now detained? What is happening? 

This small frame sits on our mantle, what sits in his heart? It cannot be love.

This day came in with a beautiful sunrise.The woods behind the house was awash in color.

We have a memorial service to attend this morning for the mother of one of my childhood friends. She was a constant in my childhood, and my math tutor in high school, a wonderful woman who passed peacefully at 96, surrounded by her family. It's in a lovely old Hanover Episcopal church.
