My Newest Watercolor

This painting needs finishing touches, but it is more complete
than not.  This will be a graduation present for my granddaughter.
Crispy the cat is loved by my granddaughter.  Crispy was part
of a litter born in an outdoor kiln that was set on fire.  His ears
were burned on the edges---hence the name Crispy.  One wonders
about the cruelty of some humans.  The portrait is of my
granddaughter's likeness; I hope she likes it.  It is her likeness [almost]
but I was working with photos as she lives a far distance from me.
That is always a dicey proposition: capturing someone's image and
not looking at the person in real life while attempting such.
