Green Shoots

I was drawn to the colours and the textures of these fallen leaves, that have been there since the autumn, and then I noticed the few green shoots of new life that are beginning to emerge. A reminder that spring is not too far away...

Then shopping for food as family coming over later. Time to take off my photo taking hat and don the cook's hat. All in a day's work.
