bird watching

this weekend is the RSPB bird counting weekend so i sat in the sun lounge poised for the hundreds  few birds that might grace my garden. 5 great tits appeared, 1 blackbird, 1 magpie, 1 wood pigeon. 1 feral pigeon ( never knew there was a difference till today ), 1 parakeet and 3 canadian geese flew over. The later 2 could not be recorded.
MR Robin, who is a regular visitor, failed to put in an appearance.
