Bosham

We went out for a good old walk today, seeing as it looks like tomorrow will be a bit of wash out.

We walked around the coast at Chidham and from there you can look across and see Bosham, a little town which pretty much floods at high spring tides.
There's a limmerick about Bosham - it goes:

There was an old man from Bosham,
who took out his dentures to wash 'em
His wife said "Oh Jack, if you don't put them back,
I'll take a big hammer and squash 'em!

Actually, it doesn't rhyme, as Bosham is pronounced "Bozum" around these 'ere parts, but it is often substituted with Cosham, which is actually pronounced Cosham!  Why change one and not the other? They're only a few miles apart!

Anyway, it was a lovely walk, but when we got back to the carpark the police were there looking at a burnt out motor vehicle that some nice souls had parked there and torched while we were out walking!  Our car was fortunately untouched.

The extra is looking in the other direction.  It was cold but people were still enjoying their boats.
