New Preston Waterfall

Today we drove to the nearby town of Washington Depot, where we ate a delicious lunch at The Pantry -- a wonderful store which stocks all manner of culinary tools, kitchen supplies, and gourmet treats, as well as offering homemade breads and scrumptious food which you can either eat there or take out.  Afterwards, we meandered home via the little hamlet of New Preston, which has this beautiful waterfall at its center.  After last summer's severe drought, it was really reassuring to see the healthy volume of water thundering over the rim.
