A busy day, visiting my dad and then my brother. Lots of driving but worth it.

I've been reading a very inspiring book by and about Edmund de Waal and his life as a potter and artist. It talks about his influences and early years as a potter, and how his work has changed over the years to focus more on groups of pots rather than individual pots. I've not been lucky enough to see any of his work in the flesh although I'd certainly like to, but this book has been the next best thing. One of the benefits of working in an art library!
