Cold Comforts

Wintry conditions walking a double horseshoe in the Luss hills less than an hours drive from Glasgow.

It was a long tough walk in tough conditions. 8 and a bit hours with plenty of ascents and descents in driving snow. To illustrate the point I've added an extra blip showing the approach to the highest (and second) of the four hills climbed today, Doune Hill (I'm second in the shot).

The main blip was our long delayed lunch break when we finally found some cover after hill 4; Beinn Eich.

That said - it was a wonderful day!
