D is for Drop
The Alphabet Challenge this week was D is for Drop. I took a single drop of water but wanted to do something different. What I wanted was a dog dropping a ball. I enrolled Merlin as model - he really seems to enjoy helping me and quickly understands what I want. The trouble is - he is so intelligent, he knows if he drops a ball from a height it bounces away so when asked to 'drop' he puts his head down and places the ball on the ground or into my open hand. So, plan B, I drop - he catches. It was a bright sunny day so I set the ISO at 1600 which resulted in a shutter speed of 1/2000 so the ball was sharp in mid-air and his head sharp too.
The continuous firing caught the whole drop - the entire sequence is on Flickr - here's the link
