Rafting The Waiau River....North Canterbury

Driving home to Nelson towards the Lewis Pass we detoured over this Waiau bridge to have a picnic lunch and watch the jet boats and adventurous people, rubber rafting down the river....
The hills are dry in the summer sun , a lovely spot here at the turn off to Hanmer Springs....then carried on north and it is great to be home again !!
