Evita...

...at the Liverpool Empire Theatre tonight, in the company of Sara, her daughter, and my younger son. She bought me my ticket as a (very) early birthday present, as I won't be here then, and in turn I bought #2S's ticket for his birthday in just 2 weeks.
There are no words to describe how wonderful was this production; we were all just blown away by it. No photography allowed of course, so we had to make do with the poster outside afterwards. Tears were shed all round, and my hands were shaking so much I had to get one of the others to take today's pic. Powerful stuff. Do go see it if you're in the area, or the tour comes to your town - and take tissues.
