Beautiful Porpoise Bay

This one of our favourite spots and this is the view from our bed. Curio Bay is populated mainly by pods of the small Hector's dolphin, seals and a few people. Quite a windy day but we are happy to take it easy after all our travels lately. The notice in the info leaflet of our accomadation tells us to be aware that sealions like to laze on the sandy track down to the beach (10 metres from the door) and that little blue penguins come up in the evening to their nests in the garden and under the decking.
The extra is a young shag who was having a snooze when l walked up to take the photo.
