A quiet beach

After a short visit to see my sister we detoured on our way home to Oputere. One end of the beach was busy but the estuary was empty of both people and water. While walking down from the busy end to the quiet end we passed oyster catcher chicks and dotterel chicks. There was a big fenced off area but they were mainly outside of this.
